HMCA plans provide benefits such as consultations, diagnostic tests, in-patient and day-case treatment, and out-patient services. Some plans also include cover for alternative therapies and treatment overseas.
Yes — HMCA welcomes new members without existing cover. After a qualifying period, you’ll receive full benefits, subject to terms and conditions.
Yes — HMCA allows you to use any hospital from its list of approved facilities. If your preferred hospital isn’t listed, contact the helpline for assistance.
If you choose to have all your treatment solely through the NHS, or it’s an emergency admission, you’ll receive a tax-free cash benefit for each night you spend in hospital, for up to 30 nights. This benefit is yours to spend as you wish.
